Dr. Anahid visited our department.

　6月3日、フランスの精神科医Jean Anahid先生が当科の見学に来られました。Anahid先生は、シャルコーが教鞭をとり、フロイトも留学したことで有名なサルペトリエール病院で精神科研修を受けられました。成人の発達障害を専門としつつも、催眠の研究で学位を取られたり、脳科学研究もされたりするなど、多彩な分野で活躍している若手精神科医です。

　今回、当科の関連病院であるいぬお病院の犬尾明文先生からご紹介いただき、見学が実現しました。新病棟や外来、デイケアを見学する中で、フランスの精神医療との違いをたくさんお話しくださいました。フランスでは成人と児童思春期の精神科は厳密に分かれており、当科のように幅広い世代の患者さんがいることに驚かれていました。また福大病院の外来で精神分析の実践が行われていること（カウチがあること）にも、興味をお持ちのようでした。当科のデイケアは日本の大学病院で最も早くに開設されましたが、各病院のデイケアが合同で大会を開いたり交流したりすることはフランスではほとんどないようで、素晴らしい取り組みであると感心されていました。

　On June 3, Dr. Jean Anahid, a psychiatrist from France, visited our department. Dr. Anahid completed her psychiatric training at the Salpêtrière Hospital, which is famous for a place where Charcot taught and Freud studied. Specializing in adult developmental disorders, Dr. Anahid has also earned a degree in hypnosis research and conducted brain science research, making her a very unique and active young psychiatrist.

　This visit was made possible through an introduction by Dr. Akira Inuo of Inuo Hospital, which is affiliated with our department. During her tour of our new ward, outpatient clinic, and day care center, she shared many insights about the differences between French and Japanese psychiatric care. She was particularly surprised to know that our department treats patients of all ages, where as in France, adult and child/adolescent psychiatry are strictly separated. She also expressed interest in the practice of psychoanalysis at Fukuoka University Hospital's outpatient department. While our department's day care center was one of the first to be established at a university hospital in Japan, she was impressed by the fact that day care programs from different hospitals collaborate and hold conferences, which is rare in France.
